We do suggest to start booking a date 3-6 weeks before your planned moving date. End of month is the busiest time so these slots go quickly as demand is high at this time. We offer a reservation guarantee which once your truck is reserved you may change the date at any time for no additional fees and still be guaranteed a truck. We are a bigger company so we can always fit in same day or short notice moves.
With over 15 different vehicles in our fleet we offer a wide variety of truck sizes to accommodate your needs. We have moving trucks that range from 18-28 Feet. We also have cars, suvs, pickup trucks and 20 & 40 foot flat decks to accommodate anything you may need moved.
Our sales agents are trained and skilled to provide accurate estimates. Most moves we can provide a estimate over the phone once a sales agent has gotten sufficient information about your move. We do offer free in home or video estimates for all customers if they like. For larger or more complex moves that may require packing or multiple trucks we always do a in home or video estimate to be more exact.
Yes, we provide full labour services with our professionally trained movers. If you have some items you need moved in your home or business we can assist with that. If you also have your own truck or pod you would like loaded /unloaded we also can assist with that. Our movers do come in the moving truck if needed so they can bring the required protection for your carpets & floors and any moving equipment /supplies they may need for your move.
No you don't have to be there but someone else must be able to meet our crew to let them into the house and show them what's moving. Please let the office know and they will need there name and contact information. Once the move is complete someone must be on site to do a final check and complete payment. Our drivers are able to video you to ensure everything is moved before leaving to unload.
Helping your moving crew is not preferred but is allowed to a certain extent to speed the move up. You are able to carry items outside to the end of the truck but we cannot permit anyone onto the truck that is not an employee of our company for insurance reasons.
Riding in the truck with the moving crew is not allowed as we cannot permit anyone into the truck that is not an employee of our company for insurance reasons.
Yes you can cancel your move if needed. Any moves that are cancelled will loose the initial deposit as once we book you in our system we are turning down other customers for that slot.
If you need to reschedule a move we do require 48 hour notice and your deposit will be moved to the next date booked.
Yes we can take items to the dump or items in good condition to donation centres or a location of your choice. Extra fees may apply for dump fees or time. Ask your sales agent for more info.
Our professional movers are fully trained on how to protect your home to prevent damages. All your floors and carpets are covered with floor runners. Any railings or door jams are covered with door protectors and railing covers. We do always take extra precautions to ensure the protection of your home while moving.
Our professional movers are fully trained in proper wrapping and packaging techniques to ensure the safety of your contents. Our staff will use a combination of heavy duty moving blankets, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, packing paper and boxes to protect all items before loading. All mattresses or TVS will be placed in a new bag or box before being loaded into the truck for insurance purposes and to protect them from getting dirty or wet.
Yes we do. Our crews carry basic tools and can assist in taking apart your beds, tables or gym equipment if needed and setting them up. The only things we dont take apart is baby cribs for liability reasons but we can move them. Some items may take more or less time depending on how complex it is. We do recommend if customers take apart things to save time especially gym equipment.
Our crews are able to take down and set up your TV only if it is on a stand or mount. We do not install TVs into drywall for liability reasons. We can refer you to a professional TV mounting service. Our crews can move your appliances but we do not set up anything that involves water lines for liability. We can plug in your fridge, freezer or stove if needed.
For most local or long distance moves within the province your crew will unload the same day after loading. For some long distance or bigger moves we may unload the next day depending on the timing and distance. We do offer same day long distance service if needed.
Yes there are some items we cannot take in the truck due to insurance or regulatory reasons. These items include but not limited to : Plants, open liquids, meat or fruit, aerosol cans, gasoline, propane tanks, paint, dirt, wet or soiled items, any furniture with signs of bed bugs or animal feces.
Yes we are able to move all sizes and types or pianos, pool tables and hot tubs. We offer take down and set up services. Please consult with your sales agent for more info.
Yes we are able to move your vehicles and other trailers or outdoor toys you may have. We can either move it in the moving truck or on a seperate flat deck. We have many different sizes of trucks and trailers to tow or haul your items anywhere in Canada.
Yes we offer full and partial packing services. We offer start to finish white glove service. Our crews will bring all materials needed and pack your home or business professionally.
This will depend on the size and location of your move and pack. If you have a local move with not much packing needed our crews can pack and move in one day. If you require a full packing service our crews may come the day before to pack and get everything ready for the loading day the following day. Talk to your sales agent about any specific needs you may have.
Yes we sell al moving supplies needed for any move. We have items from boxes, tape, mattress bags, packing paper, clothing/wardrobe/picture boxes, bubble wrap and many more. We also offer delivery for supplies if needed.
PBO or packed by owner boxes/bins are not covered by insurance. Only boxes that our movers packed will have the contents insured. This is due to some customers just throwing things into boxes and not professionally packing boxes/bins which may be damaged in transit.
Clothes may be packed in bags, bins or wardrobe boxes which we do sell. Dresser drawers must be emptied before our crews will move them.
Paintings may be wrapped with blankets and bubble wrap or we do sell picture boxes in many sizes if you prefer.
We are pleased to announce we accept all forms of payment which include: Cash, Visa, Mastercard, E -Transfer and Debit.
A $200 non refundable deposit is taken to book all moves and crews. The final payment is taken at the end shortly before the crew is finished. On larger or long distance moves payment may be taken before unload. All credit cards will have a 3% Credit Card fee applied for the final payment only not the deposit.
We can definitely direct bill them. We would just need an authorization letter or email from your employer or worker with billing instructions or a purchase order (P.O.) number.
Tips are appreciated but by no means expected. There is no standard tip amount recommended; however, for your convenience, there are tip options available on our payment machines to choose a percentage or a specific amount for customers who do wish to leave a tip. Tips are evenly distributed amongst the crew members who provide your services. You may also tip them cash directly.
